TORA Systems, LLC was founded in Anchorage, Alaska by business partners Armond Schroeder and Carlos Machuca. Mr. Schroeder has a degree in Mathematics and more than 40 years experience in the software development business. Mr. Machuca has a B.B.A in Finance and worked as a Mortgage Originator and a real estate analyst for several years. This unique combination of talent and expertise fostered the creation of TORA! The Mortgage Adoption Software.
TORA! is a unique mortgage adoption and management system developed, tested and utilized by Mr. Machuca in his practice with the objective of increasing his refinance sales by adopting new clients and by managing his current clients’ loans.
At first, TORA! was built using several sophisticated mathematical functions and databases tied into dynamic spreadsheets. But as the service demand grew, it was necessary to turn TORA! into a more robust application. With the help and know-how of Mr. Schroeder, TORA! became a reality.
